I live near the Al Markaziya area and my 2016 Nissan Patrol’s battery has been acting strange for about two weeks now. Sometimes it starts perfectly fine and other times it cranks really slowly like it’s about to give up. I’ve asked a few neighbors where they get their car batteries replaced and most of them just go to random garages near the industrial area or call those mobile services that come to your home. But honestly I’d rather take the car somewhere local that I can actually walk to if something goes wrong instead of waiting around for someone to show up. I found something online at http://www.carbatteryreplacement-abu-dhabi.ae/al-markaziya that seems to list options in my area but I’m not sure which shops are actually reliable and which ones will try to sell me some cheap brand that won’t last through the summer. Does anyone here have direct experience getting a battery from a shop in Al Markaziya? I’m looking for a place that carries good quality Japanese batteries since my Patrol is pretty heavy on electrical draw with the cooling seats and entertainment screens. Also do these local shops usually install the battery for you or do they just sell it and expect you to fit it yourself? I don’t mind paying a bit extra for proper installation because I’ve heard horror stories about people messing up the terminals or dropping a wrench across both posts and frying the whole electrical system. Would really appreciate any recommendations or warnings before I just pick a random shop from Google maps.
